NEED COMMENTS!

Okay! So I've decided to stick with a mailer for my business system. The top image would essentially be the front of the mailer, and then the other side would be the back. It would be held together with a sticker, and then on the inside it would have sign up information, as well as what the company is, what it does, what its main goal is, etc. If you have ANY COMMENTS please give me them. I have no idea what to do and am pressed for time (as we all are!)

I definitely like the idea of a mailer better than the standard business system. I like the collage effect that you are using on your mailer and the mood its portraying. Maybe bring in a little illustration to relate back to your identity a little more? The placement of the colored band with text is really nice and effective. Maybe move the word play so its not right under the other text. I like the collage just needs some refining and integration.

Also with the sign up on the inside...are you including an envelope for them to return it? Just wondering :)

For your first set of roughs:

I think looking too professional would be a little off-putting to parents/families receiving information about a rather community-based program. Especially if you are putting it on nice cream paper, that would be enough to differentiate it as something professional. In that case, you have to use your identity elements in a way that is fun to look at- for instance, the motion of the car on the letterhead, or the really big frog.

The mailer with pictures seems like it will be more useful to your organization. Though I don't have any great design ideas at the moment, one thing that might help would be considering how this pamphlet reaches its audience. Through the mail is one option. However, have you considered it being giving to kids at school to take home to their parents, or given to parents who visit the school, etc? This would automatically build more trust with your audience, and you could then think about design without worrying about mailing requirements and info.

One more thing: If you're going to be pushing the frog as a sort of mascot for the service, I would consider creating some other poses/versions for it. If it could come to life as more of a character between pieces, that might inspire new design ideas.
